茅葺き屋根とは？/ What is a thatched roof?

茅葺屋根は薄い茅（かや）が重なり合って作られており、空気を多く含む構造です。このため、外気温の変化に対して非常に優れた断熱効果を発揮し、内部の温度を安定させることができます。特に暑い夏や寒い冬でも、快適な生活空間を維持することができます。茅葺屋根は日本の伝統的な建築で、釘を使っておりません。その独特な形状と自然な風合いは、周囲の自然と調和し、美しい景観を作り出します。また、茅葺の家は地域の文化や文脈を感じることができ、訪れる人々に懐かしさや温かみを与えます。

A thatched roof is made by layering thin reeds, creating an air-filled structure that offers excellent insulation, keeping the interior temperature stable in both hot summers and cold winters. 随一の広さを誇る建物。縁側の目下に滝や小川も流れており、ご宿泊者のみの景色を愉しんでいただけます。客室内にはかまどや囲炉裏なども設けており、古き良き時代の雰囲気を感じます。

Boasting the largest space, this building offers exclusive views of a waterfall and stream below the veranda, visible only to guests. Inside the rooms, you’ll find a traditional atmosphere with a kamado stove and irori hearth, allowing you to experience the charm of a bygone era.

高台に位置しており、目の前には山々の景色が広がります。桧を使った空間で、木々の香りも感じていただけます。

正面からは180度広がる山々の景色を見ることができます。右手には庭があり、四方から自然を感じることができます。桧を使った空間で、木々の香りも感じていただけます。

This room offers a 180-degree view of the surrounding mountains. A garden is located to the right, where you can experience nature from all directions. Like Room.02, it’s made from cypress wood, filling the space with the scent of the trees.
